40th PCT.

Monday, October 12, 3:21 p.m. — Police responded to a call of a pedestrian struck at East 138th Street and Bruckner Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 37 year-old female unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk underneath a commercial truck. EMS also responded and pronounced the victim dead on arrival at the scene. Preliminary investigation determined that a 2013 Nissan SUV operated by a 52-year-old female was traveling eastbound on the inner roadway of Bruckner Boulevard and attempted to make a right turn onto East 138th Street when she collided with a 2013 Kenworth commercial truck, operated by a 35-year-old male. The operator of the commercial truck lost control of his vehicle after colliding with the Nissan and mounted the sidewalk on the south east corner of 138th Street and Bruckner Boulevard striking scaffolding and continuing into a bus stop fatally striking the victim and injuring two other pedestrians.

Friday, September 12, 12:40 p.m.. — A burglary occurred when a suspect entered 528 Bryant Avenue through the front door. Once inside, the suspect removed tools and subsequently fled the location.

Friday, September 9, 5:05 p.m. — A suspect entered Napolitano’s, located at 2136 Williamsbridge Road, through the rear entrance, entered the basement where she removed an iPad. She is described as black with a dark complexion, black hair, 30- to 40-years-old, wearing a striped shirt and blue jeans

Sunday, October 4 — Police arrested Pasqual Alvarez and charged him with a murder and an attempted murder that reportedly occurred on May 11, 2015 at 2741 White Plains Road.

50th PCT.

Sunday, October 4, 12:35 p.m. — Police report that a male suspect entered the European Wax Center, located at 3550 Johnson Avenue, where he brandished what appeared to be a grey gun by his waistband and demanded the 18-year-old victim employee to open the cash register. The suspect then removed approximately $500 from the register before fleeing north bound on Johnson Avenue on foot. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Sunday, October 4, 7:42 a.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a female shot at 2525 Morris Avenue. Upon arrival, police observed a female unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head while sitting in the passenger seat of an SUV outside the location. EMS also responded and pronounced the female deceased at the scene.

Thursday, September 17, 9:30 p.m. — A robbery occurred when a male Hispanic and a female Hispanic entered an apartment building located on Cedar Avenue and gained entry to a 4th floor apartment via a fire escape. They removed a guitar and a laptop from the location.
