45th PCT.

Tuesday, December 22, 2015, 2:18 a.m. — An unidentified male suspect followed a 21-year-old female victim as she entered an apartment building in the vicinity of Westchester and Zerega avenues. When the victim reached the 2nd floor, the suspect displayed a knife and grabbed onto her purse. The victim resisted and the suspect fled on foot. The victim was not injured and no property was taken. The suspect is a light complexion male Hispanic in his twenties, 5’10” and 200 pounds.

46th PCT.

Thursday, December 24, 2015, 10:55 p.m. — Police responded to a call of a male assaulted in the vicinity of West 183rd Street and Jerome Avenue. An investigation revealed two groups of males were engaged in a verbal dispute at which time shots were fired and the two groups of males fled the scene. Police officers discovered a 16-year-old male victim in front of 2270 Jerome Avenue with a multiple gunshot wounds to his back. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Police observed a second victim a 19-year-old male at the scene with two gunshot wounds to his back and one gunshot wound to his buttocks. EMS transported the second victim to St. Barnabas Hospital.

47th PCT.

Friday, December 25, 2015, 9:54 a.m. — On the first floor of a residence located in the vicinity of East 220th Street and Paulding Avenue, a male suspect shot a 27-year-old female victim in the arm and neck and fled the location. EMS responded and transported the female to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.

48th PCT.

Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1:14 a.m. — Police responded to a report of an abandoned child at 1175 E. Tremont Avenue. EMS responded to the scene and transported the 8-month-old boy, to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

There were no apparent signs of trauma and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

49th PCT.

Friday, December 18, 2015 4:34 a.m. — Between the hours of midnight and 4:34 a.m., a black male entered a deli at 1991 Bronxdale Avenue by crawling underneath a roll down gate and removing about $300 in cash from the register.
