New Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark was sworn into office in an inauguration ceremony at Lehman College on Saturday, January 16. She took the oath of office from Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam. At the swearing-in, Clark was joined by friends and family, as well as a plethora of dignitaries, including Senator Chuck Schumer, Mayor de Blaso, Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, Public Advocate Letitia James, city Comptroller Scott Stringer, City Council Speaker Melissa Mark Viverito, Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and many more.
