Longwood residents enjoyed some last minute summertime fun at their neighborhood’s block party. The Hispanic Federation, Council members Rafael Salamanca and Ruben Diaz and Freddy Perez, Jr. co-hosted the Longwood Festival on Saturday, September 8 at Intervale Avenue between Longwood and Dawson avenues. Despite the rainy weather, many guests still had an amazing time listening to live music by El Godfather de la Salsa Andy Montanez y Su Orquesta, dining on delicious Puerto Rican cuisine, singing and dancing in the streets.
