High Schooler Scores 1,000 Pts

Preston High School varsity basketball player Christine Rice scored 1,000 points in her first three years of play. A ceremony to recognize the high school junior’s achievement was held on center court in Monsignor Scanlan High School, before Preston’s play-off games against St. Joseph by the Sea from Staten Island.
