The Mongiello-DeAngelis family held a reunion at Patricia’s Restaurant in Throggs Neck on Sunday, September 6. The Mongiello family has been in Throggs Neck since the 1920s, and was featured in one of the Bronx Times history columnist Bill Twomey’s articles. Roughly 70 family members attended this year’s event, including some relatives that came from the four corners of the United States and even a group from Italy.
