Drive-By Shooting Wounds 3 Men

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that wounded three men in Mount Hope last week. According to a NYPD spokesman, three men were hospitalized on Monday, May 15 after a being shot on Walton and East Tremont avenues. The gunman opened fire into a crowd of people from inside a car just after 8 p.m. A 18-year-old, 26-year-old and 27-year-old were all struck in the back. They were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
