Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; Charito Cisneros, Hispanic Cosmetology and Beauty Chamber of Commerce founder; MetroPlus and other volunteers partnered up to offer complimentary spa treatments to domestic violence survivors on Tuesday, December 6 for the borough president’s 14th annual Bronx DiVA Spa at Hostos Community College.
The event helped raise awareness of domestic violence and paired survivors and case workers with available resources.
