College Of New Rochelle’s White Coat Ceremony

College of New Rochelle’s School of Nursing and Healthcare Professions nursing students took a vow of compassion and received their white coats as a symbol of their entrance into the healthcare profession.

A new tradition began at College of New Rochelle on Monday, October 1 as 176 nursing students participated in the college’s inaugural White Coat Ceremony.

The ceremony, which was initiated in 1993 by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, is now held at hundreds of schools throughout the country to mark the start of clinical practice.
