Legal Hand Bronx and Timothy Harrell of the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board held a workshop related to police misconduct on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Topics of the workshop included the use of excessive and unnecessary force, the abuse of authority, discourtesy, offensive language, discrimination, sexual misconduct and more involving wayward police officers.

Attendees, including Legal Hands Bronx Manager James Coger (center), were also given an opportunity to ask questions, speak on their or loved ones’ experiences and provide their inputs concerning topics presented. Photo by Jewel Webber

Those in attendance were also able to ask questions, provide their own input on the topics presented and talk about their own experiences—or loved ones—related to the issue.
