The City Island Chamber of Commerce held its 108th Anniversary Dinner Dance on Saturday, December 8 at Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses clubhouse. This year’s honorees were Business and Community Service Award recipient Richie DePierro; Community Service Award recipient Congressman Joseph Crowley; Special Certificate of Appreciation recipients Art of Beauty, Artie’s Steak and Seafood and Cottam Heating and Air Condition and William White of Con Edison; Nautical Heritage Award recipients Jacks Bait and Tackle, City Island Yacht Club, Harlem Yacht Club and Morris Yachts Club; American Legion Post 156, special recognition for 100 years of service and New Business Recognition recipients Cathi Swett Esq and Complexions Salon.
