After years of advocacy, City Island launches first-ever 3-K program at P.S. 175

NYCDOT repaved several portions of roadways around Pelham Bay Park in the past year, following a push from community organization, City Island Rising. The street improvements addressed community concerns of safety in and around the park and City Island area and community leaders say there's still more to be done.
