Officers from 45th Precinct named ‘Cops of the Year’ during Bronx NYPD holiday party

Two officers from the 45th Precinct were honored for their service with “Cop of the Year” awards during the Bronx NYPD holiday party.

The honorees were Detective Hannah Rivera of Community Affairs and Officer Edward McClain. The latter has accumulated more than 900 arrests across 18 years of service in the NYPD.

The 45th Precinct, which covers the neighborhoods of City Island and Co-op City, was the only precinct to see more than one officer be named an honoree.
