In honor of Holy Thursday, His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan visited Catholic Charities of New York’s Bronx Distribution Center on Thursday, April 13 to distribute food to clients of the 402 E. 152nd Street food pantry.
Cardinal Dolan joined Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; Goya Foods and Catholic Charities staff to distribute the seasonal meals.
Goya Foods, the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned food company, has committed to donating 300,000 pounds of food to the hub which will be distributed to area food pantries.
