Over a thousand visitors and car enthusiasts gathered to enjoy the 9th Annual Orchard Beach Classic Car & Motorcycle Show on Sunday, October 4, which once again turned out to be a huge success.
Guests were in awe as they admired the 1,995 cars and 1,000 motorcycles on display, enjoyed the vendors and chatted with celebrities.
Celebrity appearances were made by Steve Schirippa, Burt Young, Tommy Dreamer and more. Visitors enjoyed the return of Elvis, played by Nasar Sayegh, as he walked around the Orchard Beach parking lot on Sunday, October 4.
The winner of the raffle was Robert Scalere Jr. “He is so ecstatic,” commented his father Robert Scalere Sr., as his son was cruising around in a restored 1968 SS Impala.
The money raised will be distributed amongst the NYC Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, Little People of America and the Chrissy Foundation.
“We want to thank all the members of the staff for volunteering and Joe Mandorino from Lobster House and the Pine Tavern for donating food to the staff,” said John Monsolino, vice president of the Eastcoast Classic Car Assocaiton. “The entire day was a huge success.”
