Artist Talk for The Story Unveiled: Illuminating Womxn’s Narratives

From 6 to 8 p.m.; free

As Women’s History Month draws to a close, join other Bronx art lovers at the BxArts Factory for a discussion of women’s issues and narratives with the featured artists. Hear about the inspiration for their work and get a behind-the-scenes look into their creative process.

BronxRockets Community Run/Walk

From 9 to 11:30 a.m.; free

Put on your walking shoes and join this Bronx walk/run group for a morning of exercise at Rev. T. Wendell Foster Park. The goal of BronxRockets is to make their community more active and get to know new people, all while exploring local parks in the Bronx.

WBO Spring Egg Hunt

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free

This annual event at the Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center features spring-themed activities like an egg hunt, potato sack races, crafts and photos with the Easter bunny.

4- to 7-year-olds are invited to participate in the egg hunt from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 8- to 10-year-old are invited from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

This event is free, though Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center asks attendees to bring one non-perishable food item for their local food pantry. For more information, see their event posting here.

The Sixth AIM Biennial (Part One) Closing Event

From 1 to 6 p.m.; free

The Sixth AIM Biennial (Part One) is leaving the Bronx Museum, and all ages are welcome to join artists and museum staff for its final send-off. The event begins with a kids storytime from museum staff, and then four installation and performance art pieces will be activated by their creators throughout the rest of the event.

This event is free. A scavenger hunt through the galleries will be available for children, while adults can engage with art by Dario Mohr, Yesuk Seo, Aika Akhmetova and Santina Amato.

Easter Eggstravaganza

From 1 to 3 p.m.; free

Prizes, candy and Easter-themed activities await kids and families at Roberto Clemente State Park this Sunday. There will be photo opportunities for the family.
