Brooklyn Man Killed In Claremont Shooting

Police need your help solving a fatal shooting in Claremont. According to 42nd Precinct police, police officers responded to a report of a person assaulted in front of 622 E. 168th Street on Wednesday, April 3 at 2 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered 28-year-old Brooklyn resident Quamel Anderson with a gunshot wound to his torso.

EMS transported Anderson to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

A second victim, an unidentified 34-year-old, walked into Lincoln Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. No arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation.
