Rotary Club News

The Rotary Club of the Bronx held meetings on Tuesday, April 21 and Tuesday, May 5, as well as a club fellowship on Tuesday, April 28.

The April 21 meeting featured guest speaker Mary Symmonds who has worked as an international economic and social development professional with a focus on African nations. She has worked at the United Nations Development Programme specializing on economic and social development in Africa for about three decades. She is the co-founder of the Global Leadership Coalition to bring leadership and entrepreneurship opportunities to leaders in the Caribbean, Oceania, Latin America and elsewhere. She spoke of the efforts of this coalition.

David Giller and Helene Abrahams were the guest speakers at May 5 meeting. They are from Think Positive World Enterprises. Their mission is to create a movement for positive change that brings together the collective wisdom, the greatest minds, the best technology, and the most caring souls on the planet.
