A Winning Team

Congratulations are in order for the 2015 Season Champions of AFC Rapid Soccer Minor Division, the Island Current Fleet team.

Coaches said that each and every player contributed to a successful season that led them to the playoffs where they played their hearts out until the very last minute of play and took home the championship trophy!

Prfessional soccer player Mia Hamm sent these words: I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion.

Winning team members include Reese Ava Murphy, Jack Murphy, Senid Godusevie, Jamie Lynn Kibler, Mikelia Giustino, Finn Wiehler, Anthony Ponce, Julian Mendoros, Ronnie Verderose, David Pemberton, Johnnie Verderose, Carlos Hernandez Jr., Huloye Diallo and Maeve Ryan.
