Teens break into south Bronx school with sledge hammer, steal nine computers: cops

Police are looking for a group of four teenagers that were caught on tape forcing an entry, trespassing, and stealing nine computers from a south Bronx school last month.

Using a sledge hammer, three boys and a girl broke into the Mott Haven Educational Campus successfully in mid April after a prior failed attempt to break metal security bars around a window at the school on Tuesday, April 14 at about 9:00 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Days later on Monday, April 20 at about 11:00 p.m., the four managed to break a window with the hammer and illegally enter the school, police sources said

The four teens then allegedly stole nine Apple computers, fleeing to parts unknown out of the same broken window, NYPD reports indicate.
