Stand Up to Violence held a Friday, January 22 community violence response rally between White Plains Road and East 221st Street, the site of a Saturday, January 16 shooting of a 27-year-old man who was injured in the incident.
Joseph Thompson, 49th Precinct Community Council president, spoke out against the Saturday, January 16 shooting and gun violence during the rally.
