Sunday, July 1 at 5:28 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a child unconscious inside of an apartment at 1631 Fulton Avenue. When cops got to the scene, they encountered an EMS crew providing emergency care to an unconscious four-mounth-old baby girl. EMS subsequently took the infant to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

45 Precinct

Sunday, July 1 at 10:30 a.m. — Cops are looking for the public’s helps in identifying a man in connection with a robbery that took place in front of 135 Westchester Square. A 28-year-old man was approached by an unidentified man who had a small caliber firearm. The man with the gun demanded the 28-year-old victim’s property, forcibly riding off on his motor scooter. The scooter had an estimated value of $500. The individual is described as an Hispanic man in his 30s, five feet and six inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, gray shorts, white sneakers and a baseball cap.

46 Precinct

Saturday, June 30 at 9:58 p.m. — Cops were called to a report of an assault that was occurring inside apartment #1D at 1801 University Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a 36-year-old man lying unconscious and not responsive with gunshot wounds to the torso and head. The gunshot victim was found in the apartment’s living room. EMS subsequently declared the man dead at the scene.
