Saturday, April 16, 3:30 a.m. — A slashing occurred outside of 941 Hoe Avenue. A 23-year-old man and a woman were standing in front of the building when a third man, the slasher, said something to the pair. When the 23-year-old man asked him what he had said, the suspect slashed him in the face.

42 Precinct

Wednesday, April 13, 6:33 p.m. — The fire and police departments responded to a blaze at the Butler Houses, located at 1368 Webster Avenue. Apartment 3F was on fire. Two young girls, a 2-year-old and 1-year-old, were found in the apartment and later pronounced dead.

Sunday, April 17, 6:05 p.m. — A man was assaulted at Union Avenue and East 163rd Street. Three perpetrators approached the victim, a 37-year-old man, and struck him with a metal garbage can and a metal shovel. While the victim was on the ground, the individuals continued to assault him and removed his wallet. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was in listed in stable condition.

45 Precinct

Wednesday, April, 13 at 6:30 p.m. — A woman was robbed of her purse at gunpoint in front of 1460 Zerega Avenue by two men. One of the perpetrators pushed her against a wall while holding a handgun and the other perp took her purse. They were both described as black men who were both about six-feet-tall. One of the suspects was wearing a UPS uniform.
