Monday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. — A theft of a computer was reported to cops. A female black in her 20s entered a commercial business at 316 E. 149 Street. She gained entry in a way that is still being investigated. Once inside she took a Mac computer and then fled. She was last seen wearing a camouflage-style jacket, blue jeans and boots.

46 Precinct

Saturday, April 1 at 5:11 p.m. — A petit larceny was reported to cops in front of 163 E. 178th Street. A person described as a male Hispanic of average height took a passengers-side rear view mirror from a 34-year-old woman’s car before fleeing. The person was last seen wearing a red and green vest, a black hooded sweater, black pants, a baseball cap and black sneakers.

47 Precinct

Sunday, April 2 at 2:31 a.m. — Cops received an emergency call about a woman who had been shot in front of 761 E. 214th Street. When they arrived on the scene they found an adult woman, likely in her 20s, with a gunshot wound to her head. EMS responded and pronounced her dead.

49 Precinct

Saturday, March 25 at 7:39 a.m. — A 71-year-old man was followed into the elevator in an apartment building near Cruger Avenue and Pelham Parkway. He was robbed. He was punched in the stomach during the robbery. The person cops are looking for is a heavy set woman who is an Hispanic black who weights about 190 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket and brown pants.
