On Saturday, May 30, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life was held at Monsignor Scanlan High School’s baseball field. Hundreds of cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers and teams of walkers celebrated those that survived and memorialized their lost loved ones. The 4th annual relay was held from 3 p.m. until midnight and featured a Luminara Ceremony where candles were lit to honor locals who have battled cancer. The funds raised by Relay for Life support cancer patients.
