Rocking the Boat members gathered to celebrate the completion of the organization’s 45th student-built boat at Hunts Point Riverside Park on Saturday, June 6 with a boat launch and naming ceremony. The event also kicked off the boating season. At Rocking the Boat, students work together to build wooden boats, learn to row and sail, and restore the Bronx River, revitalizing their community while creating better lives for themselves.
