NYC Parks deputy director Public Art Jennifer Lantzas, the Bronx River Arts Center and several artists enjoyed previewing eight newly installed sculptures for ‘River Rising/Sube el Rio: An Exposition of Science, Art and Technology’ at Starlight Park on Wednesday, June 27. The exhibit, which will be on view for one year, consists of eight sculptures by 15 artists informed by the 1918 Bronx International Exposition of Science, Arts and Industries, which took place on this same site a century ago.
