Polls are officially open across the Bronx as voters head to the ballot box for the 2026 midterm elections.

Voting will take place from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. State election law allows any voter who is in line by the time polls close to remain and cast their ballot.

New York City voters will also weigh in on five ballot proposals set by the Mayor’s Commission on Government Efficiency.

Some races are competitive, with more than one candidate running for the seat, but some races are not, like many judicial contests where the winning candidate was predetermined in the June primary. If your district is not listed in this guide, it is not a competitive race.

Residents can verify their polling place through the New York City Board of Elections.

Races we’re watching:

Bronx voters will head to the polls in several congressional races during the 2026 midterm elections.
