Tuesday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. — An individual entered a wireless store located at 3221Third Avenue and engaged an employee in a conversation. The person appeared to be interested in marking a purchase. During the conversation, he walked around the counter and demanded money from the cash register while simulating a firearm. He took a Bluetooth, case and $150 in cash. The individual is described as a black man in his mid-20s, who was approximately five feet, seven inches tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a baseball cap and a black jacket.

43 Precinct

Monday, February 19 at 2:30 a.m. — A robbery was reported to cops at a beauty supply business at 1382 Parkchester Road. Once inside, the individual took a cash register containing $250 and fled the location in a unknown direction. He is described as a black man who was last seen wearing a black coat, gray hooded sweater, black pants and construction boots.

44 Precinct

Thursday, February 8 at 11:40 a.m. — A robbery was reported to police opposite 975 Walton Avenue inside of Joyce Kilmer Park. An individual approached a 53-year-old man from behind, put his left arm around his shoulder and told him to give him his money or else he would shoot him. The individual had his right hand inside of his jacket pocket as he made his threat. Another person stood in front of the victim as this occurred. The first individual reached into the victim’s jacket pocket and took approximately $18,000 in cash.

46 Precinct

Sunday, February 11 at 10:20 p.m. — Cops got a report of a grand larceny at subway station at Grand Concourse and East Tremont Avenue. A 32-year-old woman was exiting the subway turnstiles when she was approached by two unidentified men. They asked her to swipe them into the subway using her MetroCard. When she went into her purse to retrieve her wallet in her purse, one of the two people snatched the victim’s purse and both fled the subway station on foot. The victim’s purse contained a bank card and $16.
