Thursday, October 18 at 7:45 p.m. — Cops got a report of a robbery that took place at a pizzeria at 404 Hunts Point Avenue. An individual described as a black man between 20-years-old and 25-years-old who is five feet, seven inches had a gun and demand money form store employees. After one of the employees closed a cash register, the individual grabbed a tip jar for the staff off of the counter that contained about $15 and fled the scene on foot. He ran across Hunts Point Avenue towards Drake Street. He was last seen wearing sunglasses a red hooded sweater, a black jacket, black sweatpants with white stripes on its sides and black and white sneakers.
Friday, October 5 at 5:54 p.m. — Cops got a report of a robbery that occurred inside of a deli located at 1097 Boston Road. A 35-year-old woman was approached by to unknown women who began to slap her in the head and take her cellphone. The two women then fled the location. One of the offenders was later apprehended at 1122 Franklin Avenue. The second individual is described as a black woman who is about 35-years-old to 40-years-old, weighs about 190 pounds, had a medium skin tone, and is about five feet, seven inches tall. She has tattoos on her arm and black corn rows. She was last seen wearing black sneakers, blue jeans and a white t-shirt. She was carrying a red backpack.
Monday, October 8 at 9:25 p.m. — A 33-year-old man was approached from behind while standing in front of 3151 Westchester Avenue. He was punched and then pushed to the ground by three male black teenagers. All three kicked him and punched him while be was on the ground. After a bit, he was able to flee. The victim suffered a fractured wrist and cuts to his face. He received medical treatment privately. None of the victim’s property was taken.
Friday, October 26, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. — An individual followed a 63-year-old man into the lobby of his apartment building at the Grand Concourse and East 181st Street. The victim was punched in the face and knocked unconscious. When the victim was on the ground, the individual took $40 in cash from his pocket and fled the scene on foot. The individual police seek to interview is a black man who is about five feet, nine inches. He is about 250 pounds and was last seen wearing a grey sweater with a blue stripe, matching sweatpants, a blue hat and white sneakers. He was seen carrying a red bag. (See photo above).
Thursday, October 18 at 11 a.m. — A 56-year-old victim who was volunteering at a food pantry of a church located at 1909 Vyse Avenue was assaulted by two black men who are about 25-years-old. A dispute occurred and the men proceeded to punch the victim in the face, which caused him to fall to ground. He was struck in the head with a pushcart during the conflict. The victim suffered lacerations to his head and was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he received stitches to the head. One of the individuals was six-feet-tall with a thin build and the other one as five feet, nine inches with a medium build. The first wore a burgundy hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, while the second wore a black jacket with white lettering and blue jeans.
Sunday, October 20 at 3:50 p.m. — It was reported to cops that an unidentified man approached a victim, a 73-year-old man, at East 180th Street and Crotona Avenue. The individual snatched a wallet from the man’s hand. The wallet contained identification and $50. After the grand larceny, the unidentified individual fled the scene on foot. The unidentified man is a white-Hispanic who is about 35-years-old. He is about five feet, eight inches and weighs 215 pounds. He was wearing tan work boots, a black hat, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
