On the weekend of June 20 and 21, the Pelham Bay Belles Girls Softball Tournament teams and families will travel to Sparta, NJ to participate in the annual Sparta Schools Out Tournament with teams from our 8u, 10u, 12u and14u Divisions.
This Tournament has become an annual event for Pelham Bay going back about 8-9 years and also has become a warm-up tournament for the Babe Ruth Metro-State games in late June and early July in which many of the players will also participate.
Two years ago our 16u team won tournament, as we are hoping one or all will this year!
The tournament itself is a great experience for not just the players, but also their family members by getting to see the girls have so much fun playing, hanging out with their friends, spending the night at the Marriot (which has a pool) and parents getting to hang out with their friends also.
