OLA Helping Hands Food Pantry’s Anniversary

The Our Lady of the Assumption Church’s Helping Hands Food Pantry commemorated its one year anniversary helping community members in need of food assistance on Sunday, April 9.

The food pantry serves approximately 100 people including families from the parish and surrounding community, veterans, children, elderly, men, women, healthy and homebound.

Helping Hands Food Pantry relies on the generosity of parishioners, neighbors, school community and others to donate monies and food products.

The next pantry date for donations is Saturday, April 22 at 1 to 4 p.m. at 1634 Mahan Avenue.
