Monroe College’s auditorium was filled with over 200 residents eager to speak to the Council District 14 candidates at a public forum on Tuesday, August 1. Hosted by the Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition, Bailey Houses, Community Action for Safe Apartments and Bronx Health Reach, residents had the opportunity to engage the candidates in discussions on such local topics as housing, the Jerome Avenue rezoning and the Kingsbridge Armory.
