Senator Jeff Klein, NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, City Island Civic Association and Throggs Neck Community Actions Partnership sponsored a free Naloxone Training-Learning to Save a Life conference on Thursday, July 27 in City Island.

Patricia Higgins has already used an overdose rescue kit to save her son. She urged everyone to have a kit because it’s easy and may save a life.
