Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and local elected officials attended a presentation of the NYS Fiscal Year 2020 Budget in the Bronx on Thursday, April 11 at St. Barnabas Hospital’s auditorium.
The new budget, which was passed into law on April 1, includes provisions that affect labor and employment, energy, media, finance, health care and other industries.
Hochul (c) explained some of the fundamentals of the budget to some of the students of Validus Preparatory Academy.
