On March 11, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson is hosting a Bronx College Fair at Lehman College’s Apex Center aimed at providing high school and college students, English Language Learners and adult learners, the resources needed to enroll and obtain a 2-or 4-year college degree.
The event will take place at 250 Bedford Park Blvd. West, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
“Our Bronx institutions of higher learning provide a world-class education preparing and equipping new generations of global citizens with the skills necessary to succeed in their careers and in their lives,” said Gibson. “Whether you are a high school student or ready to earn a master’s degree, we look forward to meeting and exploring ways we can assist in making it happen.”
Experts will be available to discuss financial aid, scholarships, degree programs, workforce development, mentorships, workshops and more. Participating colleges are Lehman College, Manhattan College, Maritime College, Mercy College, Hostos Community College, Fordham University, Bronx Community College, Metropolitan College of New York, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the College of Mount St. Vincent.
