The City Island Chamber of Commerce toasted several community leaders at its 106th annual Dinner Dance Awards on Saturday, November 12 at Scavello’s on the Island.
This year’s honorees included Catherine Scott Achievement Award recipient Janie Blanks, City Island Civic Association recording secretary and Exit Realty Private Client associate broker; Sam Bierman Business and Community Service Award honoree Dave Carman, Carman’s Service Station owner and Tom Cerretta Community Service Award recipient Patricia Attis, Presbyterian Senior Services City Island Senior Center program manager.
The City Island Chamber also formally recognized new local businesses 239 Play, Turtle Cove-Park Place Cafe and Chernin Law.
Hilary Chernin, Esq., Chernin Law owner and founder, graciously accepted her New Business Recognition award from the City Island Chamber of Commerce.
