The City Island Chamber of Commerce got creative hosting its annual City Island Fall Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11. The fair featured art work from over 50 local businesses and vendors including jewelry, fine art, wood crafts, photography, candles, soap, body care, crochet, face painting and more. Adding to the excitement, Senator Jeff Klein and the City Island Chamber hosted the fourth annual City Island Clam Chowder Festival where local restaurants and yacht clubs competed for the coveted ‘Best Red Chowder’ and ‘Best White Chowder’ titles.

Pelham Bay resident Elijah Cruz sold handmade candle holders constructed from spoons. A percentage of sales were donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
