Supermarket store C-Town, in collaboration with St. Barnabas Hospital, helped WIC residents shop smarter and more effectively at a recent outing at C-Town on Crescent Avenue. WIC is a federally subsidized special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children. SBH’s WIC program has 6,600 enrolled members in the south and central Bronx. C-Town also provided turkeys to those families who spent $100 or more at the outing.
