Silent Disco
From 6 to 8 p.m.; free
Dance like no one’s watching — and, more importantly, sing like no one’s listening — at Friday’s Silent Disco at Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center. Don a special pair of headphones to listen to music and join the dance floor.

D9 Literacy Expo
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free
Families are invited to celebrate literacy and education at the Grand Concourse Library this Saturday. Explore the book fair or hear readings by children’s authors Jeff Cortez, Kim Seabrook and Spirited Moon.

Easter Eggstravaganza
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free
The Easter Eggstravaganza calls itself the “ultimate Easter event” with “something for everyone.” 15,000 eggs will be hidden around Ferry Point Park, ready to be found. The egg hunt is joined by food, a petting zoo, an obstacle course and photos with the Easter Bunny.
The event is joined with performances by the LaGuardia High School Gospel Choir and Band, the Queens Crusader Step Team and NYU Vocal Students.

Health & Hip Hop: Women’s Health Workshop
From 1 to 3 p.m.; free
This workshop hopes to offer an empowering afternoon of healthcare guidance for cis and trans women, accompanied by “electrifying” hip-hop performances by female and non-binary artists.
Taking place at the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance (BAAD!), event planners hope it will give women a better understanding of their health. There will be a panel discussion and Q&A with healthcare professionals.

Purim with Israel
Starts at 4 p.m.; free
Join the Bronx Jewish Center for the “Purim party to end all Purim parties.” All are welcome. Live entertainment will include a live fire show with ROMEO THE ODD, music, children’s entertainment and more.
There will be a festive catered meal and hamantashen.
