On the day after Thanksgiving, members of the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program embraced the spirit of giving by visiting residents at the Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center as part of their “GENERATIONS” program.
Rather than spending the day resting, these Bronx youths helped bring the joy of the holiday season to the elderly residents of the Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center, located at 3155 Grace Ave. In addition to spreading love to residents who may not have families available to visit, the youths also engaged in activities with them, helping to bring a smile to the face of each resident.
The event also marked the 20th anniversary of the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program’s service to the Bronx community.
