Exclusively at NYBG, Kusama reveals her lifelong fascination with the natural world, beginning with her childhood spent in the greenhouses and fields of her family’s seed nursery. Her artistic concepts of obliteration, infinity, and eternity are inspired by her intimate engagement with the colors, patterns, and life cycles of plants and flowers.
Solar Astronomy at Van Cortlandt Park
Astronomy isn’t only for night owls. Join the Urban Park Rangers on International Astronomy Day for some solar astronomy and learn more about our solar system and the largest object in it: the sun!

Sunday morning yoga at Wave Hill
Wave Hill invites you to a serene Sunday morning of yoga from 10 to 11 a.m. Root your feet in the grass and look out upon the vistas as you enjoy a gentle yoga class led by Susie Caramanica. All levels welcome. In the case of rain, this class is cancelled.

From 1 to 2 p.m., earn how each species of bird make their own unique nest as NYC Park rangers join you on ta short hike to spot them in the trees of Riverdale. Then you’ll get a chance to make a nest of your own with supplies provided.
