The Bronx Democratic County Committee honored six distinguished community leaders during its annual award dinner gala on Wednesday, July 13 at the Marina del Rey. This year’s honorees included Congressman Eliot Engel; Vincent Alvarez, NYC Central Labor Council president; Sylvia Lask, Bronx Democratic County Committee president; Henry Garrido, District Council 37 executive director; Philip Ozuah, executive vice president and COO of the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and Kathy Zamechansky, KZA Realty Group president.
