Theodore Kelly, a resident of Throggs Neck for the past 36 years, passed away on Sunday, May 22.
Kelly was married to his loving wife His funeral mass was held at St. Frances de Chantal Church, and he was interred in Calverton National Cemetery.
Teddy’s smiling face and fun sense of humor will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Crewmembers visit veteran’s graves
Ten active duty U.S. Navy servicemen and servicewomen, including the commanding officer assigned to the Navy destroyer USS Farragut, joined hundreds of volunteers on Saturday, May 28 at Woodlawn Cemetery for the annual ‘Memorial Day Flagging of the Graves.’ Crewmembers placed a wreath at the gravesite of Admiral David Glasgow Farragut.
