Notable Passing
We extend our sympathies and condolences to family and friends of NYPD Chaplain Reverend Dr. Luis Serrano.
Serrano recently honored by having a part of Chatterton Avenue between Virginia and Pulsey avenues in Unionport named in his honor.
Serrano worked with local elected officals including Senator Ruben Diaz Sr. and Councilwoman Annabel Palma to collect toys during the holidays for needy children, as well as give turkeys to needy families at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
