In U.S. Navy
Seaman Dylan Rhys, a borough native, is serving aboard the U.S.S. New York in the U.S. Navy.
The ship includes steel that was part of the original World Trade Center.
He is a deck seaman, assisting in duties including refueling and firefighting.
First Novel
A.C. Savoca of Morris Park has published her first novel entitled ‘ I Didn’t Mean to Hurt You.’
The novel is a romantic drama, she explained.
She wrote it at night when she was having difficulty sleeping, she said, and was encouraged in the effort by her husband.
