Police are searching for two crooks who slashed and assaulted a man on board a southbound 6 train at the Longwood Avenue station earlier this week following a dispute over vaping.

Police from the 41st Precinct report that two unknown men were on board the 6 train at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 15. One of the men, who was vaping, blew smoke toward a 37-year-old man, who then began to argue with him. Then acting in concert with his accomplice, the two men proceeded to slash the victim with a razor blade and punch him several times in the face while attempting to rob him before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to a police spokesperson.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police on Jan. 19 released a surveillance image of one of the suspects.
