3-Alarm Fire Injures 2 In Van Nest

A mixed use building beared the scars from the early morning blaze.

Firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire that broke out inside a residential building at 1732 White Plains Road on Friday, April 27 at 12:30 a.m. According to the FDNY, two people suffered minor injuries and are expected to recover. Firefighters successfully gained control over the blaze by 2 a.m. Fire marshals are still investigating the fire’s cause.
