Police are investigating the circumstances behind the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old west Bronx man and bullet wounding of an 18-year-old on Sunday night in the south Bronx.
The deceased, Terrell Liebert of Burnside Avenue was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his chest and torso inside of the Mott Haven Houses at 380 E. 143rd Street at about 9:20 p.m. on Sunday Night.
Liebert was rushed to Lincoln Hospital after being found in “unconscious and unresponsive” condition where he was pronounced dead.
The 18-year-old gunshot victim was also brought to Lincoln Hospital for a gunshot to the right hand, according to the NYPD.
No arrests have yet been made as police continue to investigate this homicide.
