Westchester Square Becomes A Winter Wonderland

Despite the bitter cold, Santa’s elves provided gifts with warm smiles.

In the spirit of the holidays, the Westchester Square Business Improvement District and Councilman Mark Gjonaj co-hosted the sixth annual Westchester Square Holiday Celebration on Friday, December 7 at Owen Dolen Park which featured a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and surprise visit from Santa Claus.

Jolly Old Saint Nick met and wished local Community Affairs police officers a happy and safe holiday season.

Adding to the merriment were the Yuletide Carolers who gave a rousing performance of classic Christmas carols as eager guests sang together well into the night.
